Job Title: General Production/Prepper
Job Description
We are seeking a dedicated General Production/Parts Prepper to join our team. The ideal candidate will start by cleaning and preparing parts and will eventually receive training to disassemble and assemble small motors, as well as repair and troubleshoot them.
Responsibilities
+ Clean and prepare parts for assembly.
+ Use hand tools and some power tools effectively.
+ Safely lift and maneuver up to 75 lbs.
+ Examine all parts for cracks, wear, rubbing, broken parts, or deviations from specific parameters.
+ Measure and record machined parts fits.
Essential Skills
+ Mechanical aptitude.
+ Ability to use hand and power tools.
+ Experience in cleaning and prepping parts.
+ Ability to safely handle heavy objects.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Mechanical background with potential for advancement to motor mechanic/assembly position.
+ Experience in troubleshooting and repairing small motors.

Work Environment
Join our team in a non-climate controlled facility. The work schedule includes a first shift from 6:00 am to 3:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with some Saturdays required.
Job Type & Location
This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Irving, Texas.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.
