    Powder Processor Technician

    **Location:** Adamstown, Maryland

    **Job Type:** Full-Time, Contract-to-Hire

    Position Overview

    We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable **Powder Processor Technician** to support the manufacturing of high-performance ceramic components used in cell phones and other advanced electronics. This hands-on role involves precise measurement and mixing of ceramic powders and water, operating specialized equipment, and maintaining rigorous quality and safety standards.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Execute powder processing tasks to produce custom ceramic materials.

    + Measure and load ceramic powders and water into mixers with precision.

    + Maintain accurate batch records and perform in-process testing.

    + Operate drying ovens, blending tanks, milling vessels, and spray dryers.

    + Ensure homogenous mixtures for thermal processing.

    + Clean and maintain all processing equipment according to safety protocols.

    + Follow detailed written instructions and adhere to all safety and quality guidelines.

    Required Qualifications

    + High school diploma or equivalent.

    + Ability to lift 50–60 lbs regularly throughout the workday.

    + Comfortable working in dusty and wet environments; must be able to wear a respirator when required.

    + Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety.

    + Ability to maintain accurate documentation both electronically and manually.

    Preferred Skills

    + Solid math and computer skills.

    + Mechanical aptitude and ability to troubleshoot basic equipment issues.

    + Ability to interpret and follow technical process instructions.

    Work Environment

    + Manufacturing setting with exposure to powder, moisture, and industrial equipment.

    + Safety gear and respirators are provided as needed.

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
