Job Title: Facilities Manager
Job Description
The Facilities Manager is responsible for overseeing the company's environmental, safety, and health initiatives with the assistance of a third-party consulting group. This role ensures all equipment functions properly and adheres to safety standards, implements and maintains preventative maintenance processes, and manages the facility's project management.
Responsibilities
+ Develop and implement a comprehensive preventative maintenance strategy to optimize facility operations.
+ Oversee routine maintenance activities to enhance equipment reliability and extend asset lifespan.
+ Integrate inventory control systems into maintenance workflows to ensure parts availability and reduce downtime.
+ Manage budgets and schedules for maintenance tasks and related capital projects.
+ Ensure all equipment meets safety standards and complies with regulatory requirements.
+ Lead Job Safety Analyses in partnership with the Operations Manager to identify and mitigate risks.
+ Act as the primary site contact for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) initiatives.
+ Conduct regular facility inspections and ensure timely resolution of corrective actions.
+ Maintain compliance with OSHA, EPA, EPD, and other regulatory bodies.
+ Manage Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals used on-site.
+ Collaborate with the Lab Manager to develop environmentally responsible material handling procedures.
+ Identify opportunities for cost reduction and implement efficiency improvements.
+ Partner with the General Manager to develop and manage capital expenditure plans and budgets.
+ Supervise maintenance and facilities teams, fostering performance, accountability, and professional development.
+ Coordinate installation, relocation, dismantling, and foundation work for facility machinery.
+ Plan and coordinate repair work and infrastructure improvements.
+ Responsible for the safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Essential Skills
+ Experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
+ Knowledge of electrical systems, compressors, and hydraulics.
+ Proficiency in troubleshooting and building and machine maintenance.
+ Understanding of EHS and preventative maintenance programs.
+ Ability to manage budgets and schedules.
+ Compliance with OSHA, EPA, EPD, and other regulatory agencies.
+ Leadership skills to supervise and develop maintenance teams.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience with CMMS and FMX systems.
+ Familiarity with hand tools and equipment for infrastructure projects.
+ Capability to handle hazardous materials safely.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.
