Job Title: General Production Worker

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated General Production Worker to efficiently load and unload machinery with steel materials, prepare materials for processing, and ensure the smooth handling of materials within our production line.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload machines with steel material.

+ Prepare material for machine operation.

+ Gather steel material based on work orders or oral instructions for movement, loading, or unloading near the paint booth.

+ Secure lifting attachments to materials and convey loads to their destinations.

+ Count and record the number of units of materials moved.

+ Stack or assemble materials into bundles and band them together.

+ Lift heavy objects by hand or with power hoist/crane.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and machine operation.

+ Proficiency in general labor and material handling.

+ 2+ years of experience as a Machine Operator within steel/metal manufacturing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a Material Handler.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.

Work Environment

Work in a dynamic and engaging environment during the 2nd shift, with hours from 3pm to 1am, Monday through Thursday. Additional hours may be required as needed.

This is a Permanent position based out of Waukesha, Wisconsin.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $45760.00 - $54080.00/yr.
