    Job Title: Heavy Equipment Operator

    Job Description

    An established and reputable contractor based in Colorado Springs, specializing in utilities, is looking for a skilled Equipment Operator to join their team.

    Responsibilities

    + Operate heavy equipment such as loaders and excavators efficiently and safely.

    + Perform general labor tasks related to equipment operation.

    + Ensure all construction work is completed to high standards and within project timelines.

    + Maintain equipment in good working order and report any malfunctions or required repairs.

    Essential Skills

    + Minimum of 6,240 hours (3 years) of experience operating loaders and excavators.

    + Proficiency in heavy equipment operation and general construction tasks.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in both loaders and excavators is highly desirable.

    Work Environment

     

    This is a commercial construction role working outdoors. Expect to work 40+ hours weekly, with start times generally around 6:30 AM, though they may vary depending on the job.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Colorado Springs, Colorado.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $25.00 - $27.00/hr.
