Job Title: Clean Room Production Technician
Job Description
Join our team as a Clean Room Production Technician where you will play an essential role in the manufacturing of wafers used in various technological products, including consumer electronics and devices that sense light. You will work in a clean room environment, handling delicate materials and operating specialized machinery to ensure the quality and precision of our products.
Responsibilities
+ Load and unload parts into the clean room environment.
+ Assemble machines using appropriate tooling.
+ Clean and maintain machinery every few weeks.
+ Handle and manage different types of glass, specifically 200-millimeter diameter wafers.
+ Wear full protective 'bunny suits' while working in the clean room.
+ Learn to operate coating machines used for thin film coating on wafers.
+ Document work processes, operate computers, and utilize machinery for wafer production.
+ Participate in turnover meetings at 6 AM to receive assignments and tooling.
+ Monitor machine runs, which can last from 15 minutes to 12 hours, ensuring smooth operation.
+ Complete job tasks using detailed instructions called 'travelers', signing off each step.
Essential Skills
+ Experience working in a clean room environment wearing protective suits.
+ Knowledge of GMP and SOP procedures.
+ Ability to work with wafers and glass optics.
+ Experience in general production and medical device assembly.
+ Proficiency in inspection and cleaning of optics.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Presentation of a High School Diploma or GED upon hire.
+ Capability to work a 12-hour shift.

This is a Contract position based out of Santa Rosa, California.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00/hr.
