Job Title: Production Operator- Richmond, KY

Pay: $15.75-16.50

Job Description

This role involves general loading and unloading, assisting the machine operator, and sorting parts into crates. While the parts are small and lightweight, the crates may become heavy once filled.

Responsibilities

+ Load and unload materials and products.

+ Assist machine operators in their daily tasks.

+ Sort and organize parts into crates.

+ Ensure all operations comply with safety standards.

Essential Skills

+ Experience in production and machine operation.

+ Familiarity with assembly and general labor tasks.

+ Ability to operate a forklift.

+ Proficiency in packaging and inspection.

+ Use of hand tools and reading blueprints.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience as a machine operator or laborer.

+ Skills in assembly, picking, and packing.

Work Environment

This role offers three shifts: 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:15 PM, 2nd shift from 3:00 PM to 11:15 PM, and 3rd shift from 11:00 PM to 7:15 AM. Overtime is required, with potential work hours ranging from 50 to 60 per week. Flexibility with scheduling is essential, as you may be asked to come in early or stay late. Safety is a priority, with steel-toe shoes and safety glasses mandatory.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Richmond, Kentucky.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $15.50 - $16.25/hr.
