About the Role
We are hiring a **Facilities Manager** through a direct placement opportunity to lead maintenance operations, safety compliance, and environmental initiatives at our facility. This role is responsible for ensuring all equipment and infrastructure operate efficiently, safely, and in accordance with regulatory standards. You will collaborate with internal teams and external consultants to implement preventative maintenance programs, manage capital projects, and drive continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
+ Develop and execute a comprehensive preventative maintenance strategy.
+ Oversee daily maintenance operations to ensure equipment reliability and longevity.
+ Integrate inventory control systems to support maintenance workflows and reduce downtime.
+ Manage budgets and schedules for maintenance tasks and capital projects.
+ Ensure all equipment complies with OSHA, EPA, EPD, and other regulatory standards.
+ Lead Job Safety Analyses in collaboration with the Operations Manager.
+ Serve as the primary contact for Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.
+ Conduct regular facility inspections and resolve corrective actions promptly.
+ Maintain and update Safety Data Sheets (SDS) for all chemicals on-site.
+ Work with the Lab Manager to implement environmentally responsible material handling procedures.
+ Identify cost-saving opportunities and implement operational efficiencies.
+ Partner with the General Manager to develop and manage capital expenditure plans.
+ Supervise maintenance and facilities teams, promoting accountability and professional development.
+ Coordinate installation, relocation, and foundation work for facility machinery.
+ Plan and oversee infrastructure repairs and improvements.
+ Ensure safe handling and disposal of hazardous materials.
Required Skills and Experience
+ Proven experience in facilities maintenance and equipment repair.
+ Strong knowledge of electrical systems, compressors, and hydraulics.
+ Skilled in troubleshooting and hands-on building and machine maintenance.
+ Familiarity with EHS protocols and preventative maintenance programs.
+ Experience managing budgets and schedules.
+ Compliance knowledge across OSHA, EPA, EPD, and other regulatory bodies.
+ Leadership experience with maintenance teams and cross-functional collaboration.
Preferred Qualifications
+ Experience with CMMS platforms such as FMX.
+ Proficiency with hand tools and infrastructure project equipment.
+ Training in hazardous material handling and disposal.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $110000.00/yr.

This is a fully onsite position in Seattle,WA.
