Job Title: Shipping Clerk, $20-23

Job Description

As a Shipping Clerk, you will be responsible for preparing products for shipping using UPS and FedEx. You will manage inventory updates through the computer system, and coordinate with trucks and shipping brokers for pick-ups.

Responsibilities

+ Prepare products for shipping using UPS and FedEx.

+ Update inventory in the computer system as parts are pulled.

+ Communicate and coordinate with trucks and shipping brokers for pick-ups.

+ Operate sit and stand-up forklifts for material handling.

+ Ensure accurate order picking and packing within the warehouse.

Essential Skills

+ Minimum of 2 years of experience with UPS, shipping, and warehouse operations.

+ At least 1 year of experience with sit and stand-up forklifts.

+ Proficiency in inventory management and material handling.

+ Strong computer skills and excellent communication abilities.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Experience with shipping brokers is preferred.

+ Must have excellent attendance and a good attitude.

+ Ability to be trained and adapt to new processes.

Work Environment

The work environment is a fairly laid-back, small shipping area within the shop. While there are slower periods, you should be ready to manage urgent orders as they come in. The work shift is Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Dress code includes a t-shirt, long pants, and steel-toe boots.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $23.00/hr.
