    Job Title: Production Worker I

    Job Description

    The Production Worker I plays a crucial role in supporting production, warehouse operations, shipping, and the maintenance of buildings and grounds. This position requires an individual who is dedicated to maintaining high standards and efficiency within these areas.

    Responsibilities

    + Transfer production orders according to standard operating procedures.

    + Package and ship customer orders daily.

    + Load and unload trucks, pick orders, pack, strap, label, ship, and receive goods.

    + Familiarize with warehouse structure to effectively locate items.

    + Move materials within and outside the warehouse.

    + Clean and maintain work areas, and transport waste to the dumpster.

    + Perform preventive maintenance on equipment.

    + Operate forklifts, mixers, pumps, lawn mowers, snow blowers, and other equipment.

    + Perform landscaping and building maintenance duties as required.

    + Complete all tasks within standard operating procedures.

    + Manage priorities and deadlines for tasks assigned by the Warehouse and Production Manager.

    Essential Skills

    + High school diploma or GED.

    + 2 years of experience in hands-on physical labor in a production or service role.

    + 1+ year of experience operating a forklift in a warehouse.

    + Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in general warehouse operations.

    + Stable employment history preferred.

    Work Environment

     

    The role is based in a warehouse setting, involving both inside and outside shipping and receiving duties. Working hours are from 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM. The position requires comfort with both indoor and outdoor environments, using various equipment and tools.

     

    Job Type & Location

     

    This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Manassas, Virginia.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $19.00/hr.
