    Job Summary

    We are seeking a skilled **Electrician Technician** to join our team in a dynamic plant environment. This role focuses on the construction, maintenance, and troubleshooting of control panels and electrical systems across various machines. You will work with variable frequency drives, hoists, and three-phase motors, applying your expertise in blueprint reading and panel building.

    Key Responsibilities

    + Construct and maintain control panels for plant machinery.

    + Install and configure variable frequency drives (VFDs).

    + Wire hoists and three-phase motors within control systems.

    + Read and interpret blueprints of varying complexity and scale.

    + Troubleshoot electrical issues across all plant equipment.

    + Assemble and organize wiring for efficient and safe operation.

    Essential Skills

    + Proficiency in PLC systems and general electrical technician tasks.

    + Strong experience in panel building and wiring.

    + Ability to read and understand detailed blueprints.

    + Skilled in diagnosing and resolving electrical system issues.

    Additional Qualifications

    + Prior experience in an industrial electrical setting.

    + Ability to adjust frequencies on VFDs.

    + Familiarity with various types of three-phase motors.

    + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

    Work Environment

    + Operate within two expansive buildings that make up the plant.

    + Engage in electrical work alongside other skilled trades such as welding and heavy equipment operation.

    + Most large control panels are located in the far building, offering diverse and challenging tasks.

     

    Pay and Benefits

     

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $28.00/hr.
