Job Title: Welding Technician

1st shift

$20 to 25/hour

Job Description

The Weld Tech will be responsible for all welding processes, as well as layout and fitting of metal products depending on the project. This includes a variety of weld styles such as Robotic Welding, MIG Welding, Flux Core Welding, and TIG welding.

Responsibilities

+ Perform various welding processes including MIG, TIG, and Flux Core Welding.

+ Execute layout and fitting of metal products based on project specifications.

+ Engage in robotic welding with additional manual touch-up and rework as needed.

+ Collaborate with team members to ensure project specifications are met.

+ Utilize tools such as calipers, tape measures, and micrometers for precise measurements.

Essential Skills

+ 4+ years of welding experience, primarily in MIG, with TIG and Flux Core welding as a plus.

+ Experience in robotic welding is a significant advantage.

+ Proficiency in fabrication and the ability to layout and fit parts accurately.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

+ Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently or as part of a team.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
