Job Title: Warehouse Associate

Job Description

As a Warehouse Associate, you will play a crucial role in supporting production by reloading and changing spools. You will operate a sit-down Yale forklift and an electric pallet jack. Your responsibilities include utilizing SAP and RF scanners, checking inventory (first in/out), and reweighing, labeling, and stocking materials when needed.

Responsibilities

+ Support production by reloading and changing spools.

+ Operate sit-down Yale forklift and electric pallet jack.

+ Utilize SAP and RF scanners for efficient operations.

+ Check inventory using first in/first out methodology.

+ Reweigh, label, and stock materials as required.

Essential Skills

+ Experience with sit-down forklift operation.

+ Proficiency in SAP is a major plus.

+ Experience with RF scanners and electric pallet jacks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

+ Familiarity with loading, packing, packaging, shipping, and receiving.

+ Knowledge of LTL shipping.

Work Environment

The work environment is an air-conditioned manufacturing and distribution facility. You will be part of a team with two other colleagues. The company does not conduct annual reviews but instead offers regular one-on-one reviews to discuss performance. Raises are based on contribution efforts, including effort, attitude, attendance, and learning. There is a safety program where employees can earn rewards for reporting near misses or concerns. The company also offers lunch and learn sessions for training and holds smaller events, such as Super Bowl gatherings. An Employee Appreciation Week is celebrated in early March with snacks provided throughout the week.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of St. Petersburg, Florida.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $20.00/hr.
