    Job Title: Stamping Press Operator ($20-28/hr.+)

    Job Description

    We are seeking a skilled Stamping Press Operator to join our team in Norwood, OH. This role involves operating and maintaining stamping press machines, ensuring high-quality production and adherence to safety standards.

    Responsibilities

    + Set up and operate stamping press machines ranging from 35 to 400 tons.

    + Follow blueprints to ensure accurate production.

    + Stage finished products appropriately.

    + Maintain a clean and organized work area.

    Essential Skills

    + At least 2 years of experience operating stamping press machines.

    + Proficiency in using micrometers, calipers, and gauges.

    + Basic math skills.

    + Ability to lift 35 lbs regularly.

    Additional Skills & Qualifications

    + Experience in reading and interpreting blueprints.

    + Familiarity with machine operation techniques.

    Work Environment

     

    The position is available for direct placement and offers various shifts: 1st Shift from 6am-2:30pm, 2nd Shift from 3pm-1:30am, and 3rd Shift from 7pm-5:30am. Training for 2nd and 3rd shifts is conducted on the 1st Shift for 6-8 weeks. The workweek runs Monday through Friday, with voluntary overtime available on Saturdays. The environment requires adherence to safety standards, and candidates must pass a drug test.

    The pay range for this position is $40000.00 - $53760.00/yr.
