Responsibilities
Key Accountabilities:
+ Sets up cost control system, monitors and controls costs and schedules on contracts requiring validated cost schedule control system
+ Performs analyses and prepares reports to ensure contracts are within negotiated and agreed-upon parameters and government cost control guidelines
+ Prepares budgets and schedules for contract work and performs and/or assists in financial analyses such as funding profiles, sales outlook, and variance analysis
+ Prepares program plans to ensure program requirements and statement of work are captured and scheduled
+ Performs schedule risk assessments to identify and mitigate program cost and scheduling risks
+ Ensures adequate funding availability by maintaining accurate records of expenditures, directing preparation of expenditure projections, and submitting timely requests for additional funding to the government
+ Incorporates contractual changes into control systems by staying aware of outstanding work against each contract in order to maintain realistic contract cost and schedule baselines
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
+ Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, Math, or related field
+ Experience in a Finance classification / position
+ Level 1: 0-2 years of related experience
+ Level 2: 2-5 years of related experience
+ Level 3: 5-10 years of related experience
+ Level 4: 10+ years of related experience
+ Candidates must be able to obtain and maintain a DoD security clearance
+ Successful candidates must be able to secure Program access approval
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Master's Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance, Supply Chain, Math, or related field
+ Active DoD security clearance
+ P&L management
+ Cost pool management
+ Strong experience with Excel (pivot tables, advanced formulas)
+ Experience using other Microsoft Office tools (including Word and PowerPoint)
+ Experience in contractual EVMS reporting, working in Deltek software suite (COBRA, PM Compass, etc.)
+ Understanding of SAP or similar ERP system
