    The **Organizational Design and Effectiveness Senior Manager** is an individual contributor position that focuses primarily on organizational design (85%) and Org effectiveness/ other (15%). You will act as an internal consultant working with a wide variety of businesses and senior stakeholders.

     

    In this role, you will consult, influence and collaborate with senior business leaders and HR Business Partners to lead organizational design projects. You will identify root causes, work with org design tools, and lead the organizational transformation efforts of various sizes to increase their organizational efficiency.

    What you are good at:

    + Partner with and influence managers and senior leaders to understand their strategy and design/re-design sustainable organizational structures that will support their vision and move the business forward.

    + Lead organizational transformation efforts of various sizes.

    + Stay on top of emerging roles and organizational structure standard methodologies and integrate principles and guidelines, where appropriate, to improve span of control and ensure appropriate layers within the organization.

    + Build tools and resources that business leaders and HR Business Partners can use as guidelines to support their Organizational Design efforts such as job aids, playbooks, etc.

    + Developing deep business acumen quickly to able to provide thought leadership and maintain consistency in organizational structures across the firm.

    + Perform ad-hoc and standard data analyses including external/internal research on standard methodologies and reporting to support data-drive org design.

    + Coach leaders using a variety of assessment tools (Hogan, Gallup Strengths, 360 Assessments, Career Coaching, etc.)

    + Support the development and implementation of a strategic workforce planning strategy.

    + Advise on change management efforts for organizational design implementations.

     

    What you have

    To ensure that we fulfill our promise of “challenging the status quo,” this role has specific qualifications that successful candidates should have:

    Required Qualifications:

    + A minimum of 8 years professional experience in Human Resources or related field with at least three years of focused experience in Organization Design in a large organization or consulting firm.

    + Strong facilitation skills, including the ability to lead teams through difficult discussions.

    + Ability to influence executive leaders without authority using good judgment, strong consultation and coaching skills.

    + Experience supporting organizational change initiatives required for implementing new or refreshed organization design/development principles.

    + Strong customer orientation and ability to work reciprocally with other individuals across functions and business/functional groups.

    + Ability to independently scope and manage org design projects and manage them through to completion with a high level of quality.

    + Well-developed presentation skills using Microsoft products to provide detailed explanations and interpretation of factual and conceptual information.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Graduate degree preferred (MBA, I/O Psychology or other related field).

    + Strong business acuity with a large organization preferred with experience in financial services and/or banking experience a plus.

    + Experience in Strategic Workforce Planning strongly preferred.

    + Experience utilizing organizational modeling software (i.e. Orgvue) preferred.

     

    In addition to the salary range, this role is also eligible for bonus or incentive opportunities
