Arlington Central School District is seeking a passionate and skilled Special Education Teacher to join our collaborative team at Union Vale Middle School and Districtwide. As a Special Class Teacher, you will:

+ Design and implement engaging instruction tailored to students with autism, communication disorders, and learning differences.

+ Apply evidence-based practices, including Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and VB-MAPP assessments.

+ Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of educators, therapists, and families to create a positive and inclusive learning environment.

+ Use data to drive instruction and monitor progress, ensuring every student grows academically, socially, and emotionally.

Job Qualifications

What We’re Looking For

+ NYS Certification: Special Education or Students With Disabilities – All Grades or Students with Disabilities 1-6 and 7-12 combined

+ Experience: Working with students with autism, communication and feeding challenges

+ Skills: Strong communication, classroom management and data-driven instruction

+ Qualities: Empathetic, creative, and adaptable educator who thrives in a team setting
