    The famous **Caribe Hilton** is looking for their next **PBX \(Communications Operator\) \- Front Office Person** to join their Operations team\.

     

    The Caribe Hilton has welcomed guests since 1949 and has 17 acres of tropical landscaping, nine restaurants, island\-inspired rooms, spa, and oceanfront pool complex, all right on the beach\.

     

    Ideal Candidate will have previous Hospitality and Customer Service experience and will beable to communicate in Spanish and English and understand the languages\. Previous PBX and Front Desk experience is preferred\. \.

     

    **Shift Pattern:** Full Availability\. Candidate will work rotating shifts throughout the week, including weekends and holidays\.

    **Pay Rate:** $16\.86 per hour

    What will I be doing?

     

    As a PBX \(Communications Operator\) \- Front Office Person you will work as hotel Telephone Operator and Room Service Order Taker\. You will accept, deliver and respond to Guest and management messages, enquiries and emergencies using their knowledge of the hotel facilities, services, and the local vicinity to quickly respond to the customer\. A PBX operator \- Front Office Person contributes to the first impressions of our Guests and, therefore, must perform the following tasks to the highest standards:

     

    + Achieve positive outcomes from Guest queries in a timely and efficient manner

    + Accept and deliver all messages correctly and promptly for both Guests and management

    + Ensure all wake up calls take place at the correct time

    + Demonstrate knowledge of all hotel facilities and service and use up\-selling techniques to promote these offerings when the appropriate

    + Handle emergency calls immediately and relay comprehensive and accurate information, as required

    + Demonstrate a high level of customer service at all times

    + Comply with hotel security, fire regulations and all health and safety legislation

    + Attend appropriate training courses, when required

    + Demonstrate a knowledge of all hotel services, local attractions and landmarks in the hotel vicinity

    + Follow company brand standards

    + Take Room Service orders following the room service standards and knowledge of the menu

    + Handle message texting with guest in automated system

    + Receive, handle and input guest request in automated system

    + Assist other departments, as necessary

    + Be able to work under pressure

    + Positive attitude and good communication skills, especially on the telephone

    + Commitment to delivering a high level of customer service

    + Competent level of IT proficiency

    + Able to work rotating shifts, weekends and Holidays

    + Bilingual: English & Spanish

    It would be advantageous in this position for you to demonstrate the following capabilities and distinctions:

    Previous experience in a customer\-focused industry

    Prior experience in a similar role \- preferred
