How you create impact
Your role as a Lead Network Support Engineer is to keep sight of the bigger picture to drive forward our network and network security infrastructure. As an expert for network and network security you´ll implement the right technologies, which meet the company’s demands to be innovative and secure at the same time. This position is hands-on lead position and responsible for troubleshooting through diagnostic techniques and determines the best solution based on the issue and details provided by internal and external customers.
+ Manage and support assigned projects, which include responsibility for planning, time and cost control, resource utilization and implementation.
+ Research and develop innovative solutions around unified network solutions.
+ Provide strategic technical direction on highly complex network systems projects and activities involving the selection and recommendation of design approach and systems software technology.
+ Responsible for the evaluating, designing, deploying, and managing network and network security solutions
+ Develop detailed requirements for upgrading existing corporate network, as well as re-architecting network segments in order to facilitate new requirements, technologies and growth.
+ Ensure the integrity, availability and performance of our network infrastructure
+ Solve network trouble tickets and support vertical departments, i.e. Service Desk, Applications and Open Systems as it pertains to networking
+ Drive forward standardization at a global scale to enable seamless integration, global support and infrastructure automation.
+ Leverage automation for network solution and utilize infrastructure-as-a-code principle
+ Take care of lifecycle management for network and network security solutions
+ Ensure network hardware firmware and OS are compliant and updated
+ Learn, maintain, and monitor network infrastructure tools such as Grafana, Lanweeper, Cisco, vManage, Infoblox, Centreon Airwave, Clearpass and Zscaler
+ Create manage and maintain network diagrams and documentation
What we would like you to bring
+ 3+ Years of operational team lead experience
+ Ability to effectively and efficiently manage multiple projects and competing deadlines with minimal supervision.
+ Experienced in managing large scale enterprise networks
+ Deep knowledge of network transport protocols, LAN, WAN and network security technologies
+ Solid understanding of WiFi technologies
+ Knowledge of transport encryption
+ Experienced in scripting and automation
+ Experience in ITIL
+ A service and team-oriented working style
