    Primary Responsibilities

+ Maintain vendor monitoring plans and other centralized vendor documentation to facilitate analysis, cross-functional information sharing, and reporting across the inventory of third party relationships.

+ Drive results by ensuring planning, due diligence, and onboarding of new vendors, and ongoing monitoring and support of changes for existing vendors are completed timely and with high quality.

+ Support, consult with, train, and provide guidance to Vendor Relationship Owners regarding risk assessments and implications for proposed third-party usage.

+ Manage key vendor action plans to closure based on initial due diligence or ongoing monitoring results.

+ Identify escalation topics and facilitate conversations with the business regarding third-party termination and need for action plans.

+ Establish processes that allow Vendor Relationship Owners and Subject Matter Experts to identify, monitor, and document current business and process controls, assess their effectiveness and any associated issues, and communicate recommendations and solutions in a timely and efficient manner.

+ Use initiative to escalate issues or concerns arising from ongoing monitoring, such as an increase in risk, material weaknesses, repeat audit findings, deterioration in financial condition, security breaches, data loss, service or system interruptions or compliance lapses, etc.

+ Maintain strong, collaborative partnerships with key stakeholders across the business functions and corporate areas involved in vendor governance related efforts and communicate third party information across the organizational lines where beneficial to the enterprise.

+ Produce periodic management reports and communications summarizing key governance results for high risk vendors and risks and material issues in the overall third-party portfolio, including analysis on emerging issues and targeted updates for the Vendor Management Committee.

+ Drive process improvement initiatives that enhance speed, streamline decision making, and promote overall simplification.
