    Military service members and veterans with a rank of E-5 or higher plus appropriate equivalent combination of education and years of experience as outlined below will be considered for this opportunity.

    Job Summary

    Provides Dominion Energy oversight of security service provider to meet all its regulatory and vendor contractual obligations at the shift level in providing security services to Dominion Energy. Ensures regulatory and security plan compliance in conjunction with specific operational and administrative procedures and orders. Advises personnel of conditions and events affecting same. Directs armed response force during security contingency events. Provides Dominion Energy oversight of security services provider with regard to activities of security shift to ensure continuous measures are in effect and to support station activities. Performs daily administrative duties such as advising security services company on making sure planning and scheduling, training, etc. are conducted properly by security services provider. Conducts inspections to verify security personnel, equipment and barriers are in compliance with regulation, procedure and expectations. Supports other groups in their efforts, i.e., Corporate Security, Loss Prevention, Fitness for Duty, Central Inprocessing, Emergency Planning, Nuclear Site Services, etc. Coordinates with security service provider on shift testing, maintenance, etc. of security-related hardware and systems with station personnel.

     

    Required Knowledge, Skills, Abilities & Experience

    The knowledge, skills, abilities and experience required for entry into this job include the following:

    5+ years relevant experience. In-depth knowledge of nuclear security concepts and operations. Job specific knowledge of regulatory requirements and station procedures. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Excellent problem solving skills. Excellent leadership skills. Ability to manage multiple assignments and tasks. Good attention to detail. Demonstrated understanding of plant security procedures. Good understanding of company safety procedures.

    Degree or an equivalent combination of education and demonstrated related experience may be accepted in lieu of preferred level of education:

    Bachelor in related discipline
