What You’ll Do
As a Material Handler, you’ll be part of our Stanley Black & Decker team located in East Longmeadow, MA. You’ll get to:
This person will be responsible for all bin to bin transactions as well as physical movement of material to and from PRD and various machines in support of high-volume production. This person will also be responsible for cycle counts and be responsible for the accuracy of the inventory.
Responsibilities:
+ Put all incoming material into location / add up all coil tags and determine if they match the su quantity
+ Perform incoming inspection to determine that the material matches the su and coil tag. Top coil
+ Perform daily power truck inspection on narrow aisle truck and Barrett truck.
+ Picks coils for band orders.
+ Put pieces of coils back into location from prior days bands.
+ Pull material for coil wind orders.
+ Perform cycle counts as material is dropped to SFG from Loc1
+ Perform 5s duties as prescribed for your area
+ Pick STO orders for weld centers as needed
+ Pick palletized orders for weld centers as needed.
+ Work with other focus factories to resolve material short or overage issues and correct inventory.
+ Request material from other storage locations
+ Move material to the shipping doc
+ Perform Loc1 cycle counts
+ Print labels for coil travelers
+ Be responsible for the overall accuracy of the inventory.

+ Must have excellent computer skills and be adapt at learning new systems/procedures.
+ Experience with WMS preferred.Detail oriented, self-confident and assured, tactful, supportive.
+ Able to work independently and be self-motivated.
+ High School diploma or GED
