Work hours: Full Time; Mon - Fri 8:00am-4:30pm

Here's What You Need
* Bachelor's Degree Medical Technology, Applied Technology, Clinical Lab Science or Chemical, Physical or Biological Science required.
* 5 years under the director of an MT or Pathologist.
* 2 years leadership experience preferred.
* Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills are needed to manage staff and workflow, and to ensure quality control and compliance with regulations like HIPAA and CLIA.
* Experience with Point of Care is a plus
* MT(ASCP) - Medical Technologist Upon Hire Req Or
* CT(ASCP) - Cytotechnologist Upon Hire Req Or
* HTL(ASCP) - Histotechnologist Upon Hire Req Or
* MLS(ASCP) - Medical Lab Scientist Upon Hire Req Or
* SCT(ASCP) - Specialist in Cytotechnology Upon Hire Req Or
* Other equivalent of one of the above including AMT, AAB, HHS, NCA, HEW, CLS-CA, FL, NY state license, Phillipine Board Upon Hire Req Or
* HT(ASCP) - Histotechnician if supervising Histology within Anatomical Pathology Upon Hire Req
What You Will Do
+ Oversees work schedules and personnel assignments for the department
+ Reviews abnormal results
+ Checks outstanding tests list in a timely manner
+ Resolves quality control discrepancies before releasing patient results
+ Participates in orientation and training of students, volunteers, new employees and observers
+ Complies with lab and section/cost center guidelines, procedures, and policies
