Job Title: Supply Chain AnalystJob Description
The ideal candidate will analyze business needs, evaluate system performance, and implement technology-driven solutions that enhance efficiency, reduce costs, and support strategic decision-making across supply chain, inventory, procurement, and order fulfillment functions. This role involves 30% warehouse side activities, identifying discrepancies, and supporting the implementation of a new building in Detroit Lakes. Additionally, 40% of the responsibilities will involve using BI tools, Excel, and data extraction. The candidate will also play a significant role in product file cleanup and aid the pricing department in pricing more effectively and competitively.
Responsibilities
+ Generate and analyze key performance indicators to measure business performance.
+ Develop and maintain comprehensive reports to measure procurement operational effectiveness and its impact on warehouse operations.
+ Collect and analyze data related to procurement and warehouse logistics, including inventory levels, order volumes, picking and packing efficiency, and labor utilization.
+ Ensure data integrity by maintaining accuracy and consistency, and identifying opportunities for operational improvements in purchasing, pricing, and warehouse operations.
+ Collaborate with various departments such as inventory control, purchasing, pricing, and warehouse management to gather data, understand requirements, and aid in developing solutions for operational challenges.
+ Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies and cost reductions through data analysis, and collaborate with relevant stakeholders to implement appropriate changes.
Essential Skills
+ Strong knowledge of ERP systems such as Infor CloudSuite Distribution, Epicor Prophet21, or Oracle NetSuite.
+ 3+ years of experience as a systems analyst, business analyst, or operations analyst, preferably in a wholesale or distribution environment.
+ Experience in supply chain management, purchasing, or related fields.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
+ Experience in the building industry or related fields is a plus.
+ Experience with Warehouse Management/Logistics Software is preferred.
Work Environment
This position is on-site in Minneapolis every day, reporting to the operations manager. The organization has 15 different locations across the nation. This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $38.00/hr.
