• Entry Level Accountant (Hybrid)

    Job Description

    Responsibilities

    + Review cash reports and make necessary corrections.

    + Resolve and close C01 exceptions.

    + Resolve and close Remedy cases related to Accounting Customer Service.

    + Verify that all cash reports are closed by store and processed before month-end close.

    + Prepare journal entries as needed.

    + Collaborate with Car Wash, Credit Card, Lottery, Money Orders, Commission Fuels, Gas Accounting, and Sales Tax groups as required.

    + Work with Market Managers and Field Consultants as needed.

    + Perform special duties as assigned.

     

    Skills & Qualifications

     

    + Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

    + Experience with Excel, including pivot tables, formulas, and formatting.

    + Previous experience analyzing data.

    + Skills in accounting, cash application, invoicing, coding, accounts receivable, accounts payable, purchase order, finance, debits, and credits.

    + Strong math aptitude.

    + Self-starter with the ability to work independently.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.

    + Demonstrated analytical skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    This is a hybrid, contract-to-hire position based out of Irving, Texas.

    Pay and Benefits

    The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $25.00/hr.
