    Role Overview:

    + Serve as the main administrative support for practice providers in the department

    + Answer assigned phone lines promptly and professionally, directing calls appropriately and prioritizing effectively

    + Organize and maintain shared communication software tools for the clinical teams, ensuring timely responses and clear communication

    + Coordinate appointments, tests, consultations, treatments, and surgeries according to medical urgency, providing clear instructions to patients

    + Prepare various documents, including memos, correspondence, reports, and presentations, adhering to mandated formats and readability standards

    + Manage authorizations and reimbursements for physician travel and meetings, maintaining licensures and memberships for attending physicians

    Key Qualifications:

    + Experience in customer service/patient service is strongly preferred

    + Strong communication skills and ability to work in a rapid, high-stakes environment

    + Inclusive collaboration skills to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team

    + Experience working in EPIC is a plus

    Core Skills:

    + Motivated and detail-oriented, with a passion for delivering excellent customer service in a medical office setting

    + Able to thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment

    + Adept at handling high phone volume and stressful situations with professionalism and compassion

    + Organized and able to hold yourself and your team accountable to follow up on tasks in the appropriate timeframes

    Additional Information:

    + The general location will be on the Upper East Side. The exact location will be determined during the recruitment process

    + Schedule: Monday – Friday, 9 am – 5 pm, hybrid schedule after training, based on departmental needs

    Pay Range: $23.54 - $35.44
