We’re excited to welcome a **per diem Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner** to our **Gastroenterology/Nutrition Service** . Role Overview:

This role is to help cover our inpatient and outpatient nutrition service, autonomously managing patients on Total Parenteral Nutrition. Ideal Candidate will have previous TPN experience.

Key Qualifications:

+ Graduate from an accredited PA program

+ NCCPA certification

+ Active NYS license or be qualified for state licensure

+ A minimum of 2 years of related experience as a PA is preferred

+ BLS certification

OR

+ Current New York State (NYS) RN and FNP licenses/registrations

+ Master’s degree in nursing, prescriptive privileges (or eligibility)

+ 3+ years of related clinical experience

+ Related National NP certification

+ BLS certification

Core Skills:

+ Gastroenterology experience is essential; desired candidate will have experience managing TPN

+ Skilled at anticipating and balancing the needs of multiple stakeholders

+ Resourceful, with a strong ability to secure and utilize resources efficiently

+ Clear and effective communicator across all levels

+ Personable and able to build rapport with diverse groups

+ Flexible and adaptable, adjusting approach and demeanor to meet evolving demands in real time

Additional Information:

**Location** : Main hospital campus, 1275 York Avenue, New York, NY

**Hours** : Per Diem as needed, hours available Monday-Friday, ten-hour shifts; no weekends or holidays

**Reporting to:** Associate Director, APP

**Pay Range:** $88/hr.
