Reporting to the Vice President of Business Operations and Analytics, the Director of Analytics and Insights leads a team of analysts in delivering high-impact, cross-domain analytical solutions that influence strategic decisions and uncover new opportunities for business growth and operational excellence. This role serves as a trusted advisor to senior leadership and cross-functional stakeholders, guiding them in leveraging data to shape business direction, improve performance, and drive measurable results.
The Director oversees analytics strategy and execution across multiple business areas, translating complex questions into actionable analytical plans, designing meaningful metrics, and ensuring insights are embedded into business decision-making. The role requires a balance of strong technical skills, strategic business acumen, influential leadership, and people management expertise.
What would you do in this role?
Key Responsibilities
+ **Strategic Partnership & Advisory**
+ Serve as a strategic analytics advisor to senior leaders, providing counsel on leveraging data and insights for critical business decisions.
+ Partner with business owners across functions to define analytics objectives, align priorities, and co-create KPIs that measure and improve performance.
+ Facilitate and influence cross-functional strategy discussions, ensuring analytics is embedded into both strategic planning and day-to-day operations.
+ **Analytics Leadership**
+ Develop, align, and oversee analytical plans that address high-priority business questions and opportunities.
+ Proactively identify and propose innovative analytical methodologies, data models, and measurement frameworks to support emerging needs.
+ Ensure analytical outputs are not only accurate and timely but also translated into clear, actionable insights that drive measurable impact.
+ **Cross-Domain Insights**
+ Oversee analytics across multiple business domains, synthesizing data to identify enterprise-wide patterns, opportunities, and risks.
+ Ensure a consistent, organization-wide approach to metrics, reporting, and insight delivery.
+ **Collaboration & Capability Building**
+ Partner with Technology teams to translate business needs into BI and analytics platform enhancements, contributing to the development of scalable analytic tools and capabilities.
+ Represent analytics in cross-functional initiatives, ensuring alignment with broader organizational strategies.
+ **Team Leadership & Talent Development**
+ Lead, coach, and develop a team of analysts, fostering a high-performance culture that values curiosity, innovation, and business impact.
+ Set team priorities, allocate resources effectively, and ensure delivery against agreed timelines and quality standards.
+ Mentor junior and senior analysts to expand both their technical expertise and business influence skills.
Education & Experience Required
+ Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Finance, Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Economics, or another quantitative discipline.
+ Minimum 5 years of experience using SQL for advanced data manipulation in large-scale data repositories.
+ Minimum 5 years of analytics experience working with cross-functional business partners in a complex organization.
+ Proven experience designing and implementing KPIs and measurement frameworks that drive performance improvement.
+ At least 2 years of experience managing and developing teams.
+ Experience with machine learning or advanced statistical modeling is a plus.

+ Strong business acumen with the ability to connect analytics to strategic objectives across multiple domains.

+ Strong leadership skills with a demonstrated ability to coach and inspire high-performing teams.
