    Job Summary

    Shambaugh & Son is looking for a 2nd Shift Supervisor. In the role you be managingthe day-to-day operations of the Fabrication Shop, while ensuring all safety requirements are maintained.

    Essential Duties & Responsibilities

    + Plan, organize, direct, and run optimum day-to-day operations to scheduling requirements

    + Be responsible for production output, product quality and on-time shipping

    + Maintain a trusting relationship with work group, manage and develop shift staff

    + Commit to plant safety procedures

    + Address employees’ issues and work with Shop Manager to address

    + Other duties as assigned

    Qualifications

    + Proven working experience as a production shift supervisor, managing production employees

    + Adequate knowledge of business and management principles

    + Familiarity with industry standard equipment and technical expertise

    + Be knowledgeable of safety and quality

    + Ability to create accountability and to lead by example

    + Strong team building, decision-making and people management skills

    + Strong troubleshooting skills

    + Able to adapt to constant changing schedule

    + Ability to always remain flexible

    + Regular and reliable attendance, including the ability to work extended hours and weekends as required
