Job Title: Material Planner

Type: Contract

Compensation: $35 hourly

Contractor Work Model: Onsite

Hours: 8:00 am - 5:00 pm

SUMMARY:

Material Planner I is responsible for the Production Planning of finished goods as well as for the procurement of raw materials needed to support the business. Key objectives will be achieving/improving/exceeding targeted customer service levels, managing inventory levels and targets, and managing supply and demand.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Utilize MRP to create and maintain workorders for both liquids and flavor compounds.

+ Utilize fulfillment workbench to create and maintain dispensing jobs

+ Determine optimal min/max levels and restocking points to maintain appropriate inventory.

+ Review inventory levels for excess / write offs / blend backs.

+ Work with rabbinical services and I-Kosher as required.

+ Review and maintain master data for all relevant planning aspects.

+ Support all sample lab projects/library requirements.

+ Provide support/communication for all internal teams.

+ Run and utilize Pegging Report to communicate planning issues to internal teams.

+ Cross-functional departmental meetings, as assigned.

+ Participate in process Improvement projects for all aspects of the planning.

QUALIFICATIONS:

+ BS with manufacturing knowledge and previous planning experience of 2-5 years

+ At least 3 years of experience in manufacturing environments and MUST be knowledgeable in Oracle

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

+ Office work environment with occasional trips to and from the warehouse and production areas.

+ The individual may be exposed to elevated room temperatures and above average noise levels in the manufacturing environments.
