Join the Pharmacy Clinical Services Team! As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer, you will play a key leadership role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality software solutions that support critical pharmacy clinical workflows. You’ll be embedded in a cross-functional Agile/Scrum team alongside developers, business systems analysts, and fellow QA professionals, driving quality from requirements through release. This role is responsible for leading QA strategy and execution, mentoring team members, and collaborating closely with stakeholders to uphold best practices and continuous improvement. Job Responsibilities:

+ Perform manual quality assurance testing of software applications, front-end web applications, or back-end batch jobs.

+ Develop test plans with input from the scrum team and product owner.

+ Estimate test effort during requirements and design meetings.

+ Review documentation to identify scenarios and create test cases.

+ Collaborate to define and validate acceptance criteria.

+ Build and execute test cases in Azure DevOps.

+ Coordinate testing across teams.

+ Lead user acceptance testing with stakeholders.

+ Oversee test execution and validate results.

+ Set and maintain QA testing standards.

Year End Bonus:

As a year-end bonus to associates, Publix issues one month’s extra pay (pro-rated in the first year) each year if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check that year. This is calculated as a 13th month of pay in the Potential Annual Pay with Bonus line above.

Required Qualifications:

+ Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related analytical field or equivalent experience

+ 4+ years of experience performing manual quality assurance testing of software applications

+ 4+ years of experience designing, developing, and executing test cases

+ 4+ years of experience with creating and executing complex SQL queries

+ 4+ years of experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases

+ Experience with Scrum/Agile methodologies

+ Experience with full-cycle Quality Assurance activities and test strategy execution

+ Experience reviewing project requirements and high-level system designs, deriving test strategies and test plans to effectively test the solution, and executing the plan

Preferred Qualifications:

+ 6+ years of experience with Oracle or SQL Server databases

+ Experience with test automation using Selenium or Playwright

+ Experience with API validations using Swagger, Postman, or Bruno

+ Experience with Linux operating systems

+ Experience with OpenShift Kubernetes

+ Experience with automated deployments using Octopus

+ Experience with healthcare information systems

+ An aptitude to understand application design models, programming languages/frameworks (Java, Angular, SQL), and software testing concepts

+ Experience with Microsoft Azure DevOps
