    Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is seeking a Senior Principal Regulatory Compliance Analyst (Level 4) to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be virtual and can be performed anywhere in the continental United States, but prefer candidates to be locally close to a major office location in Florida or California.

    Essential Functions/Responsibilities:

    + Performs cost reviews/scrubs

    + Liaisons & supports audits (Real-time labor, Business systems, etc.)

    + Performs labor monitoring & exception reporting

    + Researches & responds to charging guidance inquires

    + Performs internal floor checks

    + Interprets federal and state and/or international regulations as they apply to products, financial processes, and other processes, practices and procedures.

    + Implements policies and procedures to ensure that these are in compliance with the appropriate statutes and regulations and that regulatory reporting requirements are met.

    + Investigates and resolves compliance problems, questions, or complaints received from other units of the company, customers, government regulatory agencies, etc.

    + May develop and implement programs/training designed to increase employee awareness and knowledge of compliance policies.

    + May audit and evaluate current policies, procedures, and documentation for compliance with government laws and regulations.

    Basic Qualifications:

    + Master's degree with 6 years experience or a Bachelor's degree with 8 years of experience in compliance, accounting, finance, and/or cost accounting related experience

    + Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS) and Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR)

    + Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications

    + Ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret Clearance

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Data mining/analytics experience

    + Working knowledge/use of Power Query, or other data mining and analytic software

    + Working knowledge/use of Tableau

    + Working knowledge/use of Alteryx

    + DCAA audit support experience

    + Aerospace/Defense Industry experience

    + Resourceful with strong analytical and problem solving skills

    + Ability to interface with multiple disciplines and varying levels of management

    + Knowledge of and experience with federal government financial standards and project costing systems

    + Experience with SAP Accounting System (PS/FI/CO modules) and Business Warehouse OLA

    + Accounting experience in government contracting and knowledge of GAAP

    Primary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $154,800.00

     

    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

     

    Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
