    The Department of Languages, Literatures, and Linguistics at Syracuse University is seeking a Part-time Instructor to teach one 4-credit section of Chinese IV (CHI 202) in the Spring 2026 semester, which begins on January 12, 2026 (appointment begins on January 5, 2026).

     

    Chinese IV (CHI 202); 4 credits - Continuing proficiency-based course which further refines and expands linguistic skills in culturally authentic contexts. Incorporates reading, discussing, and analyzing texts as a basis for the expression and interpretation of meaning. Conducted in Chinese.

     

    The hiring rate of pay for the successful candidate will be determined based on their per credit rate history within the hiring department. All positions and offers are subject to funding availability and enrollment.
