Position: Pick Up & Delivery Administrator
Job Description:
Forward’s Carrier Management team is seeking a Pickup & Delivery Administrator. The position requires a self-motivated individual who can efficiently communicate, and problem solve shipment and billing challenges. This role is responsible for ensuring system errors are fully resolved in a timely manner and will be graded on meeting set KPIs. This will include engaging with IT, Billing, and Sales to ensure a resolution is obtained and implemented. The position will determine if additional cost entries and charge fees meet company standards and requirements based on information entered by various teams. The review process includes compliance with comment/note entries, emails, and other various company processes. The Pick Up & Delivery Administrator will work with local and remote personnel to address core problems found and resolve issues identified along with other duties assigned as needed.
Core Responsibilities and Duties:
+ Operate with integrity and a safety and service-centric mindset
+ Ensure the daily performance of Forward’s Pick Up & Delivery (PUD) vendors meets company expectations
+ Ensure vendor and terminal understanding and accountability to meet Key Performance measures:
+ On-time service performance
+ Proof-of-service data within 30 minutes of service completion
+ Proof-of-Delivery images are made visible to customers by the following morning
+ Vendor invoicing is performed systematically within contractual guidelines
+ Ensure accessorial charges are denied or applied with proper judgement, documentation, accuracy and professionalism
+ Operate and oversee the PUD assignment in a way that avoids claims
+ Professional communication
+ Perform basic math, typing, computer literacy, and utilize multiple software applications
+ Initial search for lost freight
+ Use effective organization and multitasking skills to operate successfully in a fast-paced environment
+ Contribute favorably to the team culture of teamwork, proactivity, urgency, and ownership
+ Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
+ Interest and aptitude for Logistics, Transportation, Customer Service and/or Leadership
+ Ability to work individually and as part of a team
+ Ability to build positive and effective work relationships
+ Excellent verbal and written/email communication skills
+ Self-discipline
+ Multitasking ability in a fast-paced environment
+ Fluent in Microsoft applications such as Excel, 365, Word, Power Point
+ Adept knowledge of current process and applications
+ Effective Interpersonal skills
+ Valid Driver’s License
+ Reliable attendance
