Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and strategic Procurement Specialist to lead and support the development and execution of procurement strategies, sustainability initiatives, and supplier relationship management (SRM) programs. This role will play a critical part in aligning procurement operations with corporate goals; environmental, social and governance (ESG) standards; and long-term supplier partnerships.
Key Responsibilities:
+ Develop procurement strategies for direct and indirect commodities to achieve business goals.
+ Lead sustainability efforts, ensuring supplier ESG compliance and responsible sourcing.
+ Manage SRM programs to enhance supplier relationships, boost performance, and reduce risks.
+ Collaborate with operations, finance, sustainability, and legal teams to align procurement with company objectives.
+ Improve procurement processes, tools, and digital systems continuously.
+ Oversee and conduct training for management associates, interns, and facilitate department-wide training initiatives.
Qualifications:
+ Bachelor’s in Supply Chain, Business, or related field (Sustainability or Finance emphasis preferred)
+ 5+ years’ experience in procurement, sustainability, and SRM
+ Strong ESG framework and supplier compliance knowledge
+ Skilled in procurement systems (Oracle, GEP) and data analytics tools
+ Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management
+ Proven leadership in cross-functional projects and supplier partnerships
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Professional certifications such as CPSM or CPSD are highly desirable.
+ Experience in industrial, manufacturing, or mining sectors.
+ Familiarity with digital procurement transformation initiatives.
+ Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
