ROLE DESCRIPTION:
The SAP NS2 SuccessFactors HCM Solution Manager is responsible for the portfolio management program that is delivering SAP SuccessFactors and SAP Employee Central Payroll to the SAP NS2 customers. This includes leading the solution evolution as a member of the Product Strategy team and supporting the greater SAP NS2 sales account strategy for SAP’s transformational technology. The person in this role will lead efforts to prioritize and adopt new services that will drive the most business value and ensure our customer’s needs are met.
The SuccessFactors HCM Solution Manager collaborates with the SAP and SAP NS2 sales and pre-sales teams, partners, marketing, customer success, operations, architecture, and engineering to deliver solutions for our customers. The primary role of the Solution Manager is to help develop and deliver the strategy for SuccessFactors HCM services which includes product intake, rollout, content creation, and sales support. This involves understanding customer needs and corporate strategy to drive changes in the offering, commercializing innovation, designing presentations and white papers, and contributing to the sales strategies. The Solution Manager collaborates with SAP global product and solution management to plan and execute business development strategies.
This is a fast-paced environment and a nimble, results-oriented team who is looking for someone that can provide thought leadership and drive the SuccessFactors HCM for our U.S. Public Sector and critical infrastructure customers.
Portfolio Management
• Define and execute portfolio strategies for SuccessFactors HCM solutions, including portfolio roadmaps, positioning, messaging, content, and influence / participate in commercialization strategies and communications.
• Partner closely with Product Management to influence product development based on market insights, customer needs, and competitive trends.
• Define the roadmap for solution availability for our customers across multiple security boundaries.
• Maintain positive relationships with stakeholders through expertise on SAP solutions and U.S. Public Sector Industry knowledge.
• Compose and deliver sales presentations covering the SAP NS2 SuccessFactors HCM portfolio and new innovations being released to the market that articulate the sales message, differentiate SAP commercial and SAP NS2 deployments, and leave a strong and positive impression on audiences.
• Support sales with SAP NS2 messaging and offerings, including our security model.
• Effectively present to stakeholders remotely using virtual technologies and in person.
• Effectively collaborate with teams who are there to support Solution Managers’ success (Architects, PMO, partners, Marketing, Contracts, and Product Management / Service Owners).
Demand Generation:
• Evangelize SAP NS2 SuccessFactors HCM at internal and external events for customers and partners.
• Support one-to-many sales and marketing events both on-site and remotely.
• Lead cross-functional initiatives across sales, enablement, and customer success to ensure strong execution of go-to-market plans.
Operational Activities:
• Review and update presentations, proposal text, technical blueprint documents, and addendum language supporting the SAP NS2 SuccessFactors HCM offering.
• Review and update product offering descriptions, commercialization updates and any major changes to existing cloud offerings to supporting documents.
• Develop pricing and revenue models to ensure margin achievement.
EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATION:
+ Bachelor degree's in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, Information technology or related. Years of experience may be used in lieu of a degree.
+ 10 years of presales or sales / consulting / marketing experience
+ Candidates with strong knowledge of SAP SuccessFactors HCM solution suite, and SAP Employee Central Payroll is highly preferred.
+ Org & Operational Complexity: Demonstrated ability and readiness to lead in businesses and/or functions that require high degrees of complex cross-organizational interaction & collaboration.
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Ability to present to large and small groups at the executive level
+ Experience or exposure in Public Sector business preferred
+ Experience in sales, sales processes, product strategy or commercialization
+ Preference given to candidates within proximity of the Herndon, VA or Newtown Square, PA office
+ Must be able to travel up to 20%
+ Candidates must be US citizen in order to access customer data

**Compensation Range Transparency** : SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is 120800 - 253800 USD USD. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
