Electrician Apprentice

Title:1stTerm Electrician Apprentice

Reports To:Master Electrician

Job Purpose:To learn and grow in the electrical trade and support Journeymen Electricians’ electrical work and related product installation as needed to support the Mosby Team in completing all jobs on time and within budget.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Follow instructions on electrical tasks as provided by Journeymen

+ Ask questions when needed and master skills as taught by Journeymen

+ Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner

+ Provide excellent customer service to internal and external clients.

+ Load and unload materials at the job site

+ Keep job sites safe and clean, and adhere to all safety procedures

+ Maintain consistent on-time attendance

Minimum Requirements:

+ Experience in the construction industry is a plus

+ Knowledge and experience using hand tools and electrical tools a plus

+ Willing to attend continued education courses to increase knowledge base on electrical systems and functions

+ Excellent organization, attention to detail, and communication skills

+ Ability to stand, walk, kneel, bend, work with your hands, climb ladders, and move 75 lbs. independently for extended periods of time

+ High-school diploma or equivalent preferred

+ General remodeling experience is a plus

+ Valid class E driver’s license and auto insurance

+ Have & maintain clean, reliable transportation to use around St. Louis and Southern Illinois

+ Supply your own basic hand tools

+ Perform duties in an efficient, professional, and courteous manner
