Within our Quality team located in Denver, Leprino is seeking aQuality Analyst (Cheese)to continue moving our organization to even larger levels of people development, food safety, and product quality. At Leprino, starting compensation for this role typically ranges between$80,000and$94,000.This position has an annual target bonus of5%.

What Youll Do:

+ Complies with all company Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for product testing / product evaluation.

+ Provides input in the development of new testing methodology.

+ Collects, enters, processes, and analyzes data using software; interprets and summarizes results.

+ Organizes and executes product performance (e.g. shred and melt) evaluations for routine, trial, and quality alert product; and documents/presents results.

+ Maintains stringent standards for quality, identifying any issues which might adversely impact the quality of test results and/or employee safety, and immediately communicates concerns to senior staff and management as necessary to ensure prompt resolution.

+ Creates and analyzes reports to present outcomes/findings.

+ Publishes weekly senior leader reports on evaluations and complaints.

+ Aids in managing customer complaints.

+ Provides guidance and technical recommendations to internal and external customers.

+ Troubleshoots problems in area of technical expertise by gathering input from multiple sources and recommending a course of action by applying a method or structure which ensures resolution is reached in a timely manner.

+ Reviews and updates SOPs.

+ Build technical (scientific/analytical) expertise through job experience and by working with senior team members.

+ Contributes to the development of others by actively sharing, communicating learnings, and providing guidance.

+ Supports Global Quality Team to resolve and reply to customer issues and concerns.

+ Prevents Problems Before They Happen through training, continuous improvement and root cause analysis activities by interacting with employees and customers to accumulate information, analyze the situation, and recommend solutions and improvements to quickly eliminate problems.

+ Checks own work to ensure errors are identified and corrected.

Minimum Qualifications & Experience:

+ Bachelors degree in food science or related field, or equivalent experience

+ 3+ years of experience in food, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry

+ Proficient with MS Office (incl. Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

+ SAP experience preferred

+ Experience in moderately complex lab or food production manufacturing environment

+ Experience with food preparation and food safety is beneficial
