    The Office of the Governor/Louisiana Children's Trust Fund has a vacancy.

     

    The mission of the Louisiana Children's Trust Fund (LCTF) is to prevent child abuse and neglect among Louisiana's children and families through building strong cross-sector partnerships and through increased child safety public awareness. LCTF supports community-based programs and initiatives that promote family well-being and child safety across the state.

     

    The Program Manager plays a key leadership role in advancing the mission of the Louisiana Children’s Trust Fund to prevent child abuse and neglect through strategic grantmaking, partnership development, and program oversight. This position is responsible for managing LCTF’s grant programs, evaluating program impact, supporting community-based initiatives, and ensuring compliance with applicable statutes and funding guidelines.

    Minimum Qualifications

    The following are required:

    + Bachelor’s degree in Public Health, Public Administration, Accounting or a related field, or equivalent education and work experience

    + Minimum of 1 year of experience in program or grants management, preferably in a nonprofit, government, or child welfare setting.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    + Strong project management and organizational skills.

    + Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

    + Proficiency in Microsoft Office.

    Job Duties and Other Information

    Essential Functions

    Grant Management

     

    + Administer the full grant lifecycle, including application development, review, award, monitoring, and evaluation.

    + Provide technical assistance and support to grantees to ensure successful implementation and reporting.

    + Monitor grantee performance, budgets, and compliance with state and federal requirements.

    + Conduct monthly cost reimbursement audits to ensure accuracy and compliance with grant agreements and financial policies.

    + Prepare reports and presentations on program outcomes and trends.

     

    Program Oversight and Development

     

    + Collaborate with the Executive Director to identify funding priorities and develop strategic initiatives.

    + Conduct research on evidence-based practices in child abuse and neglect prevention.

    + Assist in the development and implementation of statewide prevention campaigns and programs.

    + Maintain current knowledge of local, state, and national trends in child welfare and family support services.

     

    Stakeholder Engagement

     

    + Serve as a liaison between LCTF and community organizations, state agencies, and other stakeholders.

    + Represent LCTF at conferences, coalitions, and community meetings.

    + Foster collaborative partnerships to advance shared goals in child protection and family support.

     

    Administrative and Reporting

     

    + Draft grant guidelines, policy documents, and internal procedures.

    + Assist in preparing materials for the LCTF Board of Directors, including program updates and performance summaries.

    + Maintain accurate and organized program records in accordance with data privacy and grant standards.
