Job Description:

We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Night Custodian/Cleaner. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and safety of our school facilities during evening hours.

Key Responsibilities:

+ Perform general cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting classrooms, offices, hallways, and other areas as assigned.

+ Clean and sanitize restrooms, including toilets, sinks, and floors.

+ Empty trash receptacles and dispose of waste appropriately.

+ Ensure that all cleaning equipment and supplies are properly maintained and stored.

+ Assist with setting up and breaking down for special events or activities as needed.

+ Notify management of any maintenance issues or safety hazards observed during the shift.

+ Follow established safety procedures and protocols at all times.

Qualifications:

+ Previous experience in custodial or janitorial work preferred.

+ Ability to work independently and efficiently with minimal supervision.

+ Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.

+ Excellent time management and organizational skills.

+ Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, stooping, and reaching.

+ Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and occasional weekends.

+ High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
