    JOB SUMMARY:

    This Tax Specialist II position supports the Truth and Mileage Section of the Florida Department of Revenue's Property Tax Oversight program. Key responsibilities include maintaining authority and database records, stamping packages, labeling the appropriate tax authority numbers, monitoring email accounts for received trim packages, recording and distributing these packages to staff for review, performing data entry into the eTrim system, compiling compliance reports, preparing statutory letters for noncompliance, recording dates and types of correspondence sent, and assisting with scanning and quality assurance of trim folders to ensure accurate record-keeping.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

    + Currently employed with the Florida Department of Revenue.

    + At least One year of customer service experience

    + Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite

    SUBSTITUTIONS:

    + One year of experience can be substituted for educational.

     

    SALARY: $45,823.80 - $48,198.48.
