    Amergis is hiring School Aides to support students in El Monte, Pasadena, and throughout Los Angeles County. If you're passionate about education and want to make a meaningful impact every day, this is your chance to join a mission-driven team.

     

    In this role, you'll work closely with students who have diverse learning and developmental needs, helping create a safe, inclusive, and empowering classroom environment.

     
     

    + Pay: $17–$21/hour (based on experience)

    + Schedule: Monday–Friday, standard school hours

    + Location: School sites in El Monte, Pasadena, and across LA County

     
     

    + Support students with behavioral, developmental, and academic needs alongside teachers and specialists

    + Assist with mobility, personal care, and therapeutic routines (training provided)

    + Help maintain a positive, structured classroom environment

    + Offer consistent emotional and academic encouragement to help students feel confident and supported

     
     

    + High school diploma or equivalent

    + CPR certification (or willingness to obtain—support provided)

    + TB screening and health clearance (per state or contract requirements)

    + Must be at least 18 years old

    + Must meet all federal, state, and local employment requirements

    + A strong commitment to supporting children with diverse needs

     
     

    + Caregiving, homecare, classroom support, or after-school programs

    + Working with children, particularly those with special needs

    + Demonstrating patience, empathy, and strong communication skills

    + Bringing a positive attitude and collaborative spirit to every interaction
