    Salary: $1596 / Week

     

    The Licensed Clinical Social Worker collaborates with the multi-disciplinary team to provide input in the development of the plan of care for those patients/clients requiring social work intervention. The Licensed Clinical Social Worker provides counseling and crisis intervention to patients/clients who have social or emotional problems in a variety of settings across the age span.

    Minimum Requirements:

    + Master’s degree in Social Work from a school of social work accredited by the Council on Social Work Education required

    + Active license as an LCSW in state of practice required

    + Minimum of one year of social work experience preferred

    + Current CPR if applicable

    + TB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicable

    + Current Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)

    + Must meet all federal, state and local requirements

    + Must be at least 18 years of age

    Amergis Healthcare Staffing is hiring experienced Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSWs) and Licensed Marriage & Family Therapists (LMFTs) for a unique behavioral health role in South Lake Tahoe, CA. This is a chance to work in a stunning mountain town while making a meaningful impact in the community.

     
     

    + Start Date: November 3rd

    + Setting:

    + Outpatient clinical care (4 days/week)

    + Crisis support (1 day/week at Barton Hospital – not mobile crisis)

    + Environment: Must be comfortable with winter weather and snow conditions

    ? Requirements:

    + Active California LCSW or LMFT License

    + Experience in outpatient mental health and crisis intervention preferred

    + Strong adaptability and teamwork skills

    + Comfortable working in snowy, mountainous conditions
