    Assistant Production Manager – Structural Moving Equipment Shop (Buckingham, PA)

     

    Wolfe House Movers is seeking a motivated, hands-on Assistant Production Manager to support the daily operations of our Buckingham, PA equipment shop — where we design and build the industry’s leading structural lifting and relocation products.

     

    This position works closely with our Production Manager to oversee shop activities, maintain production schedules, and ensure that high-quality, safe, and efficient work standards are met. The ideal candidate is a working leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes pride in craftsmanship, and isn’t afraid to get their hands dirty when the job calls for it.

    Requirements

    Requirements

    + Minimum of 3 years of experience in a production, manufacturing, or equipment shop environment; experience with structural or hydraulic systems is highly desirable.

    + Demonstrated leadership or supervisory experience with the ability to guide, train, and motivate team members.

    + Strong mechanical aptitude with a proven ability to diagnose and resolve production or equipment issues effectively.

    + Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings, fabrication plans, and production schedules.

    + Excellent organizational skills with a strong attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities.

    + Clear and professional communication skills, both verbal and written.

    + Competence with standard computer applications, including email, spreadsheets, and scheduling or inventory software.

    + Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel as needed between shop and project locations.
