CTG is seeking to fill a Java & Web Technologies Developer position for our client in Houston, TX.

**Duration:** 8 months

Duties:

+ Design, develop, and maintain Java-based web applications, ensuring high performance, scalability, and security.

+ Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.

+ Implement solution designs, supply chain management (SCM) processes, and reporting features.

+ Work closely with Finance and Procurement teams to support Cloud-based Cost Management solutions.

+ Develop and optimize direct procurement processes leveraging Oracle’s Procurement Cloud modules.

+ Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner.

+ Maintain comprehensive documentation of applications, designs, and development processes.

Skills:

+ Strong proficiency in Java, Java EE, Spring Framework, and web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Angular/React).

+ Experience with Oracle Cloud applications, particularly Procurement Cloud modules.

+ Knowledge of SCM processes, financial systems, and reporting tools.

+ Familiarity with RESTful APIs, microservices, and database technologies (SQL, Oracle, MySQL).

+ Ability to write clean, maintainable code and follow best practices in software development.

+ Strong problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills.

Experience:

+ Hands-on experience in developing Java-based web applications in a professional setting.

+ Proven track record of implementing cloud-based financial or cost management solutions.

+ Experience in designing and optimizing procurement processes using Oracle Cloud.

+ Familiarity with end-to-end software development lifecycle (SDLC).

Education:

+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is required.

Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
