• Sr. Data Scientist

    CTG (Houston, TX)


    CTG is seeking to fill a Sr. Data Scientist position for our client in Houston, TX.

     

    **Duration:** 11 months

    Duties:

    + Lead end-to-end AI and machine learning initiatives, including problem formulation, model development, deployment, and monitoring.

    + Design, implement, and scale ML and generative AI solutions that address complex business challenges.

    + Integrate Large Language Models (LLMs) and generative AI into existing workflows and data systems.

    + Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including engineering, product, and business stakeholders to deliver actionable insights.

    + Mentor and guide junior data scientists, fostering knowledge sharing and best practices in modeling, coding, and AI ethics.

    + Ensure data quality, reproducibility, and maintainability across all AI/ML solutions.

    + Communicate findings and results effectively to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

    Skills:

    + Advanced proficiency in machine learning, deep learning, and statistical modeling.

    + Hands-on experience with generative AI, Large Language Models (LLMs), and related frameworks.

    + Strong programming skills in Python, R, SQL, and familiarity with ML libraries (e.g., TensorFlow, PyTorch, Scikit-learn).

    + Experience with data engineering, ETL processes, and cloud-based platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).

    + Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and critical thinking abilities.

    + Proven leadership and mentoring skills in a collaborative environment.

    Experience:

    + 5+ years of professional experience in data science, AI, or related fields.

    + Demonstrated experience leading AI/ML projects from ideation to production.

    + Prior experience with generative AI solutions, LLM integration, and deploying scalable models.

    + Strong track record of collaboration with diverse technical and business teams.

    Education:

    + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.

    + PhD is a plus but not required.

     

    Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
