Application Developer - Microsoft Analytics

CTG is seeking to fill an Application Developer - Microsoft Analytics for our client in Dallas, TX.
**Duration:** 10 months
Duties:
+ Design, develop, and enhance business intelligence, data warehousing, and reporting applications using Microsoft BI tools/products, including Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded services, and SSRS.
+ Write complex queries using Power Query, DAX, R, and T-SQL to support reporting and analytics requirements.
+ Support and enhance workshop applications using TypeScript/JavaScript, PySpark, SQL, Snowflake, and Palantir.
+ Implement security features, optimize Power BI dashboards for usability, performance, flexibility, and standardization.
+ Provide clear, actionable deliverables and technical guidance for developers to implement solutions.
+ Recommend and evaluate appropriate AI technologies, frameworks, and agent development kits (e.g., Google ADK, Crew AI, LangGraph, OpenAI ADK) to meet use case needs.
+ Ensure architectures incorporate Responsible AI principles, role-based access control (RBAC), and data privacy/security considerations.
+ Continuously evaluate emerging AI technologies and best practices to improve solution designs.
+ Provide technical training and support on AI architecture and solution design as needed.
Skills:
+ Strong experience with Microsoft BI tools: Power BI, Power BI Report Builder (Paginated), Power BI Embedded, and SSRS.
+ Advanced SQL Server programming skills, including T-SQL, DAX, and Power Query.
+ Experience with PySpark, Snowflake, Palantir, TypeScript, and JavaScript.
+ Knowledge of implementing BI report security, optimizing dashboards, and ensuring scalability.
+ Analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on Microsoft analytics products.
+ Knowledge of AI frameworks and solution architecture is a plus.
Experience:
+ 8+ years of relevant experience in BI development, application development, or analytics solutions.
+ Demonstrated experience in designing, building, and maintaining dashboards, reports, and analytics applications using Microsoft tools.
Education:
+ Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.
