    Overview

     

    Kennedy Krieger Institute is seeking a dedicated and experienced Manager, Speech-Language Pathology (Outpatient) to lead and oversee outpatient clinical services. This role combines clinical expertise, leadership, and program development to ensure high-quality care and operational excellence in our outpatient speech-language pathology services.

    Key Responsibilities:

    + **Clinical Operations Management:** Administer and manage outpatient speech-language pathology services, including staff scheduling, productivity tracking, and coordination with office staff to optimize clinic operations.

    + **Liaison & Collaboration:** Serve as the primary point of contact for outpatient speech-language pathology matters within the department and across other Institute programs and external organizations.

    + **Staffing & Supervision:** Recruit, hire, and supervise certified speech-language pathologists, clinical fellows, and graduate students providing outpatient services.

    + **Quality Assurance & Program Development:** Monitor service quality and contribute to the development of intra- and interdisciplinary clinical programs.

    + **Direct Patient Care:** Conduct evaluations and provide treatment for speech/language, oral motor, and feeding/swallowing needs, tailored to individual patient and family goals.

    + **Training & Education:** Participate in team conferences, staff development, and interdisciplinary training programs.

    + **Documentation & Compliance:** Maintain documentation in accordance with Institute standards and regulatory guidelines (e.g., The Joint Commission, CARF, ASHA).

    + **Professional Development:** Maintain licensure/certification and participate in departmental and community outreach activities.

    + **Strategic Support:** Assist department leadership in setting and achieving goals for professional growth and service excellence.

    Qualifications:

    + Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology

    + Current or elgible for licensure and certification (ASHA CCC-SLP)

    + Minimum 5 years of clinical experience, including supervisory or management experience

    + Strong organizational, communication, and leadership skills

    + Experience in outpatient clinical settings preferred.

    + Experience or additional coursework in administration, supervision, or management preferred.

    USD $82,048.00/Yr.

     

    Maximum pay range

     

    USD $146,883.00/Yr.
