UMC is currently seeking a Lead C.N.A. for The Shores, our Senior Care Community located in Ocean City, NJ within picturesque Cape May County.

Requirements for a Lead C.N.A. :
+ Current/valid C.N.A certification
+ Prior experience working in long-term care
+ General office skills including computer proficiency using MS Office and Outlook
The Lead C.N.A will work in tandem with the Nurse Mentor. This role supports the non-clinical aspects of the Household - predominantly supporting the CNA's, ensuring residents' overall needs are being met within the household and ensure families' needs are being met while adhering to United Methodist Communities policy objectives for Household Model of Care and objectives of caring excellenceand high standards of quality care along with State and Federal guideline requirements.
Responsibilities for a Lead C.N.A.:
+ Be of assistance to the staff & residents, i.e.: answering call lights, assisting residents at meal times, transporting residents to/from activities, working with families, problem solving, establishing meeting schedules, monitoring cleanliness of house, participates in care plan meetings, Household schedule, resident's daily activities, manages/implements resident service plan, etc.
+ Monitor staffing schedules of CNA's
+ Monitor par levels. Reorder supplies in a timely manner
+ Support, uphold and maintain the mission and values ofUMC and promote the Communities in a positive manner in all interactions within and outside the community.
+ Demonstrate loyalty to and pride in the community, its teammates, residents and guests.
+ Respect and safeguard the confidentiality of information including HIPAA, regarding residents, teammates and guests.
+ Project a professional and caring demeanor when interacting with residents, family members, guests and teammates.
+ Maintain a clean, neat and orderly environment.
+ Use equipment, supplies and other materials in a responsible and costeffective manner.
+ Demonstrate teamwork when interacting with other teammates throughout the organization.
+ Show respect for self and others in language, dress and behavior.
+ Initiate prompt and appropriate action/follow-up to problems and issues.
+ Anticipate needs of residents, guests and teammates in a proactive fashion; seek to meet the needs promptly and courteously.
