**Job Duties:** Plan and execute laboratory test method validations and equipment qualifications for Physical, Analytical, and Microbiological Laboratories. Monitor, adjust, create, and validate test methods to ensure they are current and compliant with industry standards and regulations. Train laboratory technicians in new test method techniques based on completed test method validations. Provide internal and external audit support as Laboratory Test Method and Equipment Qualification SME. Interact with external vendors to coordinate required equipment purchases and repairs. Direct and lead the laboratory services group of Validation Scientists and Process Quality Technicians. Ensure all Laboratory Quality Metrics are consistently completed on time (Observation Actions, CAPA Actions, Nonconformance Actions, Lab Investigation Closure, and Periodic Reviews). Lead the San Angelo site for routine USP compendia revision reviews to ensure the laboratories are executing testing as required per current USP revisions. Analyze existing systems and procedures, recommend solutions/improvements, and write work instructions/SOPs as needed to support departmental functions and Global Laboratory Systems. Comply with all applicable quality management system, environmental, safety, and occupational health policies such as ISO 13485, ISO14001, and OSHAS18001. Communicate compliance requirements to strategic business unit functions and other affected personnel.

**Requirements:** Employer will accept a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Biology, Life Sciences, or related field and 4 years of experience in the job offered or in a Laboratory Services Supervisor-related occupation.
